DUA for Seeking victory over enemies
رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْراً وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانْصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ
“Our Lord! Pour forth on us patience, and set firm our feet and make us victorious over the disbelieving people.”
(Aayah No. 250, Surah Al-Baqarah, Chapter No. 2, Holy Qur’an).
Merits and/or Significance of this dua: It refers to when the faithful party (including Dawud, AS), who were few under leadership of Talut, faced their enemy, who were many under the command of Jalut. They (the faithful people) invoked Allah by reciting this dua. In this fight, Dawud (AS) killed Jalut (i.e. Goliath).
